A local builder with offices in Bunbury and Busselton has won a statewide award from the Housing Industry Association.
Summit South West has been awarded the HIA’s professional medium builder of the year accolade.
General manager David Hunt said the win was a massive boon for South West homebuyers and local industry.
“Essentially a local builder is performing on the state stage and kicking massive goals,” Mr Hunt said.
“Homebuyers have every reason to be excited as the benefits flow onto them.
“There are scores of builders in WA so to take top honours in this competitive market is a massive achievement that our whole team takes great pride in.”
Summit South West was applauded for a number of initiatives including having a totally transparent approach to customer service and satisfaction, a commitment to getting homeowners into their new dwelling in 22 weeks and using local trades who operate clean and tidy building sites.
This award caps off a stellar run for the builder after they also won the highly acclaimed best customer service large volume builder from the MBA housing excellence awards (South West) and being named one of Australia’s best places to work.
Summit South West has more than 30 employees and has been building homes as part of the Summit Homes Group for close to 40 years.
