South West Police have charged two people after executing a warrant at a Capel residence on Wednesday.
Two residents were located in the house at the time.
Police seized a number if items during the warrant search, including a loaded pistol allegedly hidden in a lounge.
Other items seized include ammunition, rifles, a quantity of methamphetamine, heroin and a smoking implement and an allegedly stolen motorcycle.
A 35 year-old man of Capel has been charged with Aggravated Possession of a Firearm, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, three counts of Possession of Unlicensed Ammunition, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Drug and Possession of Stolen Property.
He will appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on March 9.
A 29 year-old woman of Capel has been charged with Aggravated Possession of a Firearm, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and three counts of Possession of Unlicensed Ammunition.
She will also appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on March 9.
South West Police will hold a conference at the South West Police District Office at 1.30pm today.
