Comedian Sylvia Sippl is bringing her latest show An absolute idiot’s guide to art, to the Busselton Fringe Festival in March.

Sippl has an art degree and she’s not afraid to use it, actually she is pretty desperate to use it.
An absolute idiot’s guide to art takes guests on a rollicking ride through the weird and wonderful world of art, covering everything from practical art tips to the sauciest secrets from art history – all delivered in Sippl’s unapologetically brash style.

Based in Perth, Sippl is an award winning artist – she won “loudest girl” in her year 12 yearbook and hasn’t looked back since.
She is a practising visual artist and graduated from UWA in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specialising mainly in day drinking and moping around art galleries.
Sippl has studied music and performing arts her whole life and in 2016 combined her love of comedy, music and art to create I owe my parents $65,000, a part-musical, part stand up, part-family slideshow answering the oft-asked question: What’s the point of an arts education?
Sippl will play two shows on Saturday, March 4 at 7pm at the Acting Up studio and Sunday March 5 at 6pm at Fringe Central. Tickets are available online at busseltonfringe.com.au/shop.
