The energy will be running hot at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre as Doug Parkinson brings the classic rock and soul sounds of Joe Cocker to the stage.

Doug along with his talented eight piece band are an irresistible force that combined a love of American soul music with standout interpretations and depth of feeling.

Cocker is most famous for his unique renditions of the songs Hitchcock Railway, Delta Lady, You Can Leave Your Hat On, She Came in through the Bathroom Window, The Letter, You Are So Beautiful, Up Where We Belong and Cry Me A River.

The songs Doug Parkinson has included in his new show get the toes tapping and roll along, leaveing the audience spellbound and feeling nostalgic.

There couldn't be a more appropriate singer in Australia to showcase the ultimate tribute than the gravelly soulful voice of Australian singing legend Doug Parkinson.

Doug Parkinson's band is comprised some of Australia's most admired musicians, a crack rhythm section of the country’s finest.

Parkinson’s own career is an impressive feat in itself and he has hit records including the masterful and iconic hit record Dear Prudence.

Parkinson has his very own interpretations of other legendary artists including Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael McDonald, the Beatles and The Great American Song Book.

Parkinson will be in Bunbury with his tribute to Joe Cocker on May 26.
