Bunbury Primary School spread the message of peace and equality this week when they celebrated Harmony Day.
Students dressed in their national costume while classes were involved in a range of writing and craft activities as well as singing songs.
A visit from Constable Care focused on cultural identity and diversity and celebrating similarities and differences.
Specialist teacher, Kerry Crofts helps students with English as a second language.
Ms Crofts said the day was a fantastic way to spread the message of cultural harmony.
“The school has students and staff from 50 different countries and nationalities,” she said.
“Celebrating Harmony Day is a wonderful way to recognize our school’s cultural diversity and an opportunity for students to learn more about each other.”
There will be further celebrations on Friday, March 24 when the school has a whole school Harmony themed assembly including whole school celebration song.
