Eaton have been crowned the 2016/17 Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association A grade champions after a grand final defeat of Colts last weekend.
Colts captain Cruize Ciallella won the toss and elected to bowl first on Saturday.
Eaton opener Don Seaman got to work early, blasting three early boundaries and a six before being bowled on 27. Fellow opener Matt Davis edged a ball on four and Matt Foreman was caught on four.
James Hillery (50) and Arron Quartermaine (53) found their rhythm at the crease to both post half centuries. Leigh O’Mara (12) and Clayton Caltsounis (17 not out) helped to lift the Beavers to 194 all out.
Ciallella finished the first innings with three wickets while Jake Boyle and Blaze Rosinski both took two.
Colts were in trouble early in their first dig with Ciallella falling third ball for a duck. Star batsmen Murray Goodwin was caught on three and when Nick Barr fell for 10, the board read 3/15.
James Anderson (14) and Kyle Davis (16) steadied the ship before Joe Barningham kept Colts in the hunt with a handy 41.
Quartermaine led the way for Eaton with the ball, claiming three wickets while Caltsounis, Clint Hewson and Steve Barron each took two to have Colts all out for 149, 45 runs in arrears.
On Sunday, Eaton changed their batting line up with Foreman (8) and Hillery (1) opening but both fell cheaply.
Quartermaine was promoted to three and added 39 while Seaman (21) and Davies (62) built a handy partnership in the middle order.
Just when the lead looked like it would blow out to an impossible figure, Rosinski found his aim with the ball and scooped up the impressive figures of 6/21 from 10 overs to see the Beavers all out for 166.
With 211 set as the premiership winning target, Eaton got to work trying to dismiss Colts quickly and cheaply.
Opener Ethan Kelly fell for two but Anderson (25) and Goodwin (22) got the runs flowing.
Barr (3), Ciallella (10) and Davis (12) tried to get started in the middle order before Barningham picked up from where he left off the day before. With the tail falling around him, Barningham hit boundaries to climb to 48 before being caught off the bowling off Scott Prentice, who was brought on for a change of pace.
Prentice then trapped Josh Topliss in front first ball to have Colts all out for 141.
Collie were crowned the B grade champions while Burekup claimed the C grade title. Leschenault captured the D grade crown while Colts won the E grade title.
