After hours of devotion and hard work, a deluxe cubby house built by Leschenault Men’s Shed with assistance from a number of local businesses is set to be raffled for charity.
The Men’s Shed worked for a number of weeks to build the shed which was then painted by staff from Bunnings.
Now that it is completed, it is on display at Coles Australind which will sell raffle tickets in a bid to raise $10,000 for Telethon.
One lucky winner will take the luxury kid’s shack home, which is valued in excess of $2,000 through materials and labour.
Coles team member Christopher Buston’s brother, mother and grandfather are all involved in the local men’s shed.
He said is was great to see the community united to support such a worthy cause.
Raffle tickets are $5 each with the winner drawn in September.
Leschenault Men’s Shed currently have 85 members and run activities five days and one night a week.
