Anzac Park in Bunbury has some colourful visitors this week with the Choose Respect silhouettes popping up as part of Choose Respect Week 2017.
The silhouettes are representations of the wider community who have taken part to answer the question – ‘how would our lives be better if there was more respect?’.
In Bunbury, Choose Respect Week will include story time in both Withers and Bunbury Libraries where their activities will focus on kindness and caring for one another.
A highlight of the week will be a live and learn session entitled ‘Be the Power to Change’ where participants will learn how small changes that we can all make can help create a better world for future generations.
Choose Respect coordinator Leanne Maher said every individual that actively chooses respect creates a ripple effect towards positive change in the community.
The session will be held at Bunbury Library on Thursday from 11.30am to 12.30pm. For more information, search Choose Respect Bunbury on Facebook.
