Police are on the hunt for three people who allegedly stole a car on Monday morning and embarked on a crime spree with it over several hours.
A grey Honda Accord was stolen from the Pelican Point home of former WA cricketer Murray Goodwin just after 7am.
It is understood the same vehicle was used to travel to Binningup where a man allegedly broke into a home and threatened the owner who was present at the time.
Police allegedly engaged the thieves in a high speed pursuit along Forrest Highway, which was aborted after the car they were chasing crossed onto the wrong side of the road.
Emergency Services crews were then called to Olsen Grove, South Bunbury just after 2pm to reports a car had been set on fire. The blaze caused $15,000 damage.
Multiple witnesses reported seeing a man flee the area once the fire was underway, jumping fences to elude capture.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
