Campers, fishers, City to Surf runners, outdoor netball players rejoice - Perth's last weekend of winter is forecast for plenty of sun, just a few clouds and temperatures in the low twenties.
A decent run of weather, in other words, that mercifully happens to fall when it's actually needed for once after Perth and the South West endured a miserable run of wet weekends.
To kick things off the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting Friday as sunny and dry with a maximum of 21, then it's same again for Saturday, followed by a top of 22 and partly cloudy conditions on Sunday for the annual running of the City to Surf.

August has been a typically wet month for Perth with the Bureau recording 145mm of rain so far in the month, which has an average of 133mm, and overall 68mm below the winter average because of dry conditions in June.
In the state's north the forecast is for yet more hot weather with Marble Bar forecast to have a string of days above 35 degrees.
