This year, Women’s Health Week takes place from September 4-8 and its specific health message covers five things; ticker time, taking time, time to love your bones, time to move and craving pillow time.

Jean Hailes has been running a health survey of women in Australia for the last three years to understand their health needs.

Mental health and poor sleep almost always get a mention.

At our Centre, we are lucky to be able to take the time with clients and ask them a lot of questions about their general health and wellbeing including their mental health and to be able to ascertain an individual wellness plan which incorporates areas that need to improve.

We have a health educator, women’s health nurse, counsellor and wellness coach available for one-on-one consultations.

To celebrate Jean Hailes Wellness week we are also offering an information day: “Women, it's time we put ourselves first.”

It will incorporate topics such as; heart health, benefits of exercise, benefits of good sleep, a healthy cooking demo, mindfulness and a practical relaxation session and will be held on September 20 from 9am-3pm.

It includes morning tea, lunch, a goodie bag and lots of information and practical tips to take home, with some amazing guest presenters.

The cost is $25.
