EARLIER: Bunbury Detectives are seeking information relating to the suspicious approach of a child in Dalyellup on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 5pm, an 11-year-old girl was walking home from school along Hornibrook Road and Norton Promenade Dalyellup, when she was approached by a white van.

The driver tried to coax the girl to get into the car on two occasions.

The male driver was described as dark skinned, aged 30-40 years, bald with a beard and moustache and a small tattoo on his wrist.

He was wearing a hi-viz vest with a Kangaroo label.

The car was described as a white van with double door rear opening and silver painted rims.

The van has a dent in the right front guard and a large aerial on the back.
