The Bunbury Men of Song boy’s group are looking sharp thanks to a cash donation allowing them to buy a set of vests for their performances.
The group received money for the new outfits courtesy of the Bankwest Easy Grants program.
Choir president Keith Howe said the choir were delighted to have their youngest members looking so smart.
“This really is a very welcome bit of extra funding from Bankwest that we’ve used to buy a set of vests for the boys to reduce the cost to our boys’ parents,” he said.
The BMOS Boys is a relatively new venture for the choir group and it is hoped the youth group will help foster excellence in singing within an enjoyable and educational setting.
Bankwest head of community engagement Craig Spencer said Easy Grants are specifically designed to help communities and community groups at a grassroots level.
“Bankwest is committed to contributing to the development of our communities and our Easy Grants help local groups with funding for initiatives that strengthen community resilience and wellbeing,” Mr Spencer said.
The Bankwest Community grants program was first launched in 2012 and has been successful in supporting local community groups across Australia.
