Network Ten has been left without its slate of hit US programs following stalled negotiations with 21st Century Fox.
Fox, led by Rupert Murdoch and former Ten executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch, has "verbally terminated" its content contract with Ten while the network's ownership status remains unsure.
A Ten spokesperson confirmed that "Fox content is not playing on Network Ten at this stage".
Ten's lineup of Fox programs - including Modern Family, The Simpsons, and recent Emmys favourite This Is Us - has been pulled from the network.
Other shows, including animated series Bob's Burgers and Futurama and perennial re-run MASH, are also no longer airing on Ten's multi-channels One and Eleven.
Ten's arrangement with Fox stretches back over two decades; The Simpsons, for example, has aired on the network since 1991.
But sources within Ten told Fairfax Media that Fox content is no longer a significant part of the network's schedule, as US content does not attract major ratings in Australia.
The broadcaster is set to be taken over by US TV giant CBS, after creditors and employees last month rejected a last-ditch bid from Lachlan Murdoch and billionaire investor Bruce Gordon.
