New horizons are in sight for Brisbane metal-rock-funk ensemble Osaka Punch.
The group will join Perth band Voyager on stage at Bunbury’s Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday, November 23 for a relentless metal-rock-funk extravaganza.
Osaka Punch lead vocalist Jack ‘Muzak’ Venables cannot wait to showcase the group’s unique sound and performing style in Bunbury.
Venables, having never been to Bunbury previously, said he was looking forward to experiencing the best of the town’s live music scene.
“I love hanging out with my best mates,” he said.
“That’s always the funnest part of anything because, to be honest, most of touring is either sitting in a plane or sitting in a car, so if you can’t get along with the brothers in your band then you’re in trouble.
“I love seeing people out there who know the lyrics but, even more, I love people who have never heard of us and don’t know what to expect and just seeing the expressions of their faces when we do really stupid things.”
Osaka Punch’s new single tour, How We Operate, follows up the track and music video’s release earlier this year.
It has been an impressive year for Osaka Punch, with the band coming off two east coast tours, production on a new album, and a much-talked-about performance at music festival Bigsound.
The band will soon hit the road as part of The Butterfly Effect’s Australian tour.
