A bushfire, which is now contained, has burned through 20 hectares near the Bussell Highway in Capel.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the fire was reported at 12.14pm with two helicopters and ten crews attending the fire.
Emergency service crews are on the scene and will be on the ground over the next few hours mopping up, drivers are asked to take caution around Hutton Road and the Bussell Highway.
