Police have called for witnesses to a car crash on South Western Highway last night, which resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man from Waterloo.
About 9:15pm, a red 1978 model Ford Transit van was travelling south east along the South Western Highway.
The van collided with the rear trailer of a white 2007 model Volvo Prime Mover that was travelling in the same direction, near Waterloo Road.
The Prime Mover was towing two white and black coloured trailers.
The driver of the van received life threatening injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital. He died a short time later.
The 51-year-old male driver of the Prime Mover was uninjured.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash or either vehicle prior to the crash.
