Department store Myer has dropped two household names from its ambassador line-up as it looks to tighten its belt and shake up its image.
Neighbours star Jodi Gordon and Lauren Phillips, who was married in a star-studded event last weekend, shared the news on social media in the past two days.

Gordon, who has a daughter and has been dividing her time between Sydney and Melbourne, wrote on Instagram on Friday: "Sometimes the magic to life is changing direction. After 5 amazing years with my Myer family, it's time for the next adventure. Thank you for the fabulous memories from the early morning shoots, to the glamour of spring racing (and everything in between!) It's been a blast! Here's to an exciting future..."
The actress, whose ex-husband is NRL great Braith Anasta???, shared the post with an image of her in the Myer marquee at the races, where she has been a fixture in her time with the department store.
Phillips, who only just wrapped a week-long "mini-moon" after her wedding to Lachie Spark on the Mornington Peninsula last weekend, expressed similar sentiments in her post to followers on Saturday.
"After 8 jam-packed, fun-filled years with Myer, it's time to move on to new adventures ... Thank you to the team for trusting me to represent your brand for so long, and allowing me the privilege to work alongside some of the world's greatest designers - many of whom I now call my friends. It's been 8 wonderful years of smiles, fashion and friendships. Can't wait for what's next. Bring on 2018."
Lauren Phillips and Jodi Anasta have been dropped by Myer.
Phillips, who appears on Nine's Postcards program, invited several Myer colleagues to her wedding, including Kris Smith, who is continuing in his ambassador role.
It is understood Smith has had a resurgence in popularity since his appearance on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here after his future with Myer was in doubt last year when he stopped walking in the twice-yearly catwalk shows.

He made his return the runway at the store's 2017 spring racing showcase.
Former Miss Universe Australia and Channel Seven personality Rachael Finch also keeps her role with Myer in the shake-up.
But it may not be the end to the changes, with Jennifer Hawkins' contract up for renewal in late 2018. After 11 years with the company - she is also a shareholder and supplies Myer through some of her brands - there has been ongoing speculation whether she will step aside for a fresh face or simply quit the catwalk to take on a different representative role, similar to when Megan Gale altered her role with David Jones when Miranda Kerr joined the line-up.

The rumour mill is also watching The Block winner Elyse Knowles, who has made no secret of her desire for a department store role. She recently starred in a David Jones Christmas campaign with her dog but has no ongoing role with the store - for now.
A Myer spokeswoman said the company had no plans to announce new ambassadors in light of Phillips' and Gordon's departures.
