This marks the end of my first year as your local member in the State Parliament, and it has been a privilege.
To be effective in this role I need your help, so to all the people who have met with me or stopped for a chat at one of my mobile offices to share their views and hopes for our community, thank you.
I have been very proud to see some of the McGowan Government’s promises to Bunbury start to come to fruition this year.
I attended the opening of the new Doors Wide Open premises, saw the re-opening of a transformed Koombana Waterfront to the public and met with schools planning for the improvements funded for their facilities.
I am very much looking forward to 2018 being another successful year for Bunbury.
Upgrades to Hay Park will commence, improvements will get underway in Halifax and the Bunbury Development Committee will begin work on our future development.
It is important we share successes and opportunities in Bunbury.
One way we can all do that is to Buy Local. Every dollar you spend locally churns back into our economy, keeps people employed and adds to the vibrancy of our community.
Please buy locally where you can and make this a successful year for all in our community.
I send my very best wishes to all in our community for the New Year.
I am excited about our future and am looking forward to again having the honour of representing you in our State Parliament in 2018.
