Children escape Bindoon crash unhurt, police seek witnesses

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that happened near Bindoon on New Year's Day that involved two children.

The accident happened on Great Northern Highway about 8.50am when a purple Diahatsu hatchback left the road near the Wandena Road intersection, hit a tree and rolled onto its roof.

The crash was about six kilometres south of Bindoon.

Following the crash a 32-year-old man was taken to St John of God Hospital in Midland with facial injuries.

Two children, a female aged three and a two-year-old male, who were in the car at the time escaped unhurt.

Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
