The Bunbury Netball Association looks set to bring athletes together from across the region in 2018.

Fast5 Netball heads to Bunbury on February 20, with team registrations closing on February 12.

The year’s first development coaching course will be held at the Hay Park netball courts on February 10.

The group hoped the new season would deliver even higher participant numbers than ever before.

President Trish Welsh was happy to report the Senior, Junior and Net Set Go competitions were gaining momentum ahead of winter.

She said the “atmosphere” had improved last year compared to previous seasons.

“It’s about the community atmosphere – the key is to create an environment that everyone can participate in and enjoy,” she said.

Having won South West Association of the Year in 2016 and 2017, the committee believed a hat-trick was on the cards.
