Fire hits section of Forrest Highway
An advice warning has been issued for areas of Australind and Forrest Highway near Roelands in the Shire of Harvey.
The fire is burning on both sides of Forrest Hwy, north of Raymond Road.
Diversions are in place with Forrest Hwy closed northbound from Raymond Rd.
DFES crews are currently battling the blaze, but there is not threat to lives or homes.
Drivers have been urged to move slowly through the area and use their headlights.
