In a bid to raise funds for digital technology Harvey Primary School will be holding a fun filled day on February 24.
A colour run, sausage sizzle, free movie night and stalls will be held at the school to engage the community and help boost digital resources.
Harvey Primary School P&C president Jon Adams said they hoped the community would support the event.
“The school is teaching digital technology and coding as part of the curriculum this year but they didn’t have enough equipment, they approached the P&C and asked if we could raise $20,000,” he said.
“Everything we do is technology based these days, so it’s definitely very important for their future.
“A lot of local businesses, volunteers and community groups are helping out – Harvey Lions are going to be there and their going to do a sausage sizzle for us and bring their train down to do rides for the kids.
