South West Police are calling for information after a hair salon in the Greater Bunbury region was struck by thieves last month.
According to Bunbury Police, at around 3.40am on Monday, January 15, culprits forced their way through the rear doors of Eaton Hair Salon.
The thieves searched through the Pratt Road business’s premises and took items of value including an iPod and iPad.
They then located a safe, containing a small amount of cash, enclosed in a white, two-door cupboard.
The culprits then removed the six-foot cupboard and safe from the premises before tampering with the CCTV and leaving via the rear entrance.
The vehicle believed to have been used in the burglary was a stolen Toyota Landcruiser Utility.
The car had reportedly been stolen from Cummins Place, South Bunbury between January 10 and 11.
Police found the car burnt out near the Bunbury Cemetery.
Police believe this incident may be linked to offences that occurred around the same time period.
Bunbury Police Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Mal Jones confirmed an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
