Passengers who use the TransBunbury network are being invited to comment on potential changes to bus services in the area, with community information sessions to be held next week.
The changes, which are being finalised before completion of the Millbridge-Treendale Bridge, are expected to result in better connections for services and allocation of resources where they provide most benefit to the community.
Regional Town Bus Services staff will be holding information sessions on Thursday, March 15 at Treendale Shopping Centre from 9am to 1pm and Eaton Fair Shopping Centre from 2pm to 7pm (both sessions are outside Woolworths).
The proposed changes, which are planned to come into effect on April 29, include:
- Time changes and route alteration to Route 845, including an extension to Kingston Estate.
- Time changes and route alteration to route 844, including an extension to Millbridge Estate.
- Time changes and route alteration to Route 841, including the deletion of the service operating to Kingston Estate.
- Proposed minor timetable changes to Routes 825, 826, 827, 828, 829, 830, 832, 842 and 843.
Residents who cannot attend the information sessions can also provide feedback on the proposed changes by sending an email to transregional@pta.wa.gov.au or calling the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13.
Information regarding the proposed changes is available at the TransRegional website.
