Five Brazilian ju jitsu students from Monster Martial Arts and Fitness have moved up to the next level.
Zac Smith earned a green belt, while Ben Talbot was awarded a purple belt.
Head coach Dave Smith received another tab for his black belt.
Tanya Arget was given a tab for her white belt, before Monster co-owner Kris Kemps picked up an extra tab for his blue belt.
The group underwent grading in Perth on December 1.
Kemps praised the coaches and students for achieving positive results.
“It feels good to be part of a big team,” he said.
“It helps to provide confidence. It also gave me confidence in myself to get to that next level.”
