BUNBURY singing sensation Codee-Lee Down hit TV screens across the country in front of more than two million viewers on Sunday night when she competed in national reality singing contest The Voice.
The 17-year-old bravely took the stage in front of music industry heavy-weights Delta Goodrem, Seal, Keith Urban and Joel Madden after successfully moving through several rounds of competition and beating more than 15,000 entrants.
Codee-Lee did not make it through into the next stage of the competition but said it was one of the best experiences of her life so far.
She said her idol, country crooner Keith Urban, told her she had plenty of potential and he expected to see her making it on the music scene in the next two years.
Codee-Lee thanked everyone who supported her journey and plans to continue to pursue her dream of a career in music.
