With stalls of local produce, restaurants from across the state and much, much more all being represented at this year's Gourmet Village, it's safe to say they were prepared for the second day of the event after the onslaught of day one.
A beautiful, sunshine filled day saw crowds flock to Leeuwin Estate for the second round of chef demonstrations, Q and A's and in general, delicious beverages and food to be enjoyed by all.
Despite the communal census that crowds, queues and flies are a horrendous mix, the best of the region was definitely on display, with punters lounging in the grounds, sipping beverages and until closing time.
An impression of the success of the event was indicated by the individuals who arrived at 4pm and later to still grasp a taste of the best of the South West, despite the crowds travelling in the opposite direction.
The end of Sunday saw the Escape come to a close, with the Mail team in particular counting down until next year's festivities.
