CRICKET players, officials and fans all paused before Bunbury and District Cricket Association games on Saturday to remember fallen cricketer Phillip Hughes.
A minutes silence was held before every junior and senior match throughout the weekend and players wore black armbands as a sign of respect.
Association president Paul Gardiner said the loss of Hughes was a tragic event for everyone in the cricket community.
“It really has left everyone numb – it is a true tragedy,” he said.
