THE tenth annual Nina's Women's Triathlon was a huge success with large numbers of women signing up to have a go.
Of the 380 registered, 260 were first timers, a testament to the success and welcoming environment of the event.
Opened by City of Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan, he said he was impressed with the turnout and hoped it would continue in years to come.
The triathlon consisted of a 200 metre swim, a 10 kilometre bike ride and a two kilometre run.
Event organiser Donna Donovan thanked the 40 volunteers who helped the morning run smoothly.
