Dalyellup Park Rangers ladies team began the day with a fantastic 3-0 win against a competitive Bunbury United side. The ladies have been putting together some strong performances recently without getting the result so this was the reward for all their hard work. The goals were shared between Paige de Bres, Angela Atherton and Paige Couzner.
The masters team has been enjoying their season so far and looked very strong with a resounding 9-1 win over Bunbury United. Phil Kirk bagged five for his day’s work, with the remainder of the goals going to Jon Wright, Steve Hands, Raf Fuja and Darren Williams.
The division one side were involved in a very tough game which finished in a 2-2 draw. Dalyellup’s goals came from Leeton Munro and Kyal Iverson. Munro had a great game and will be pushing for a spot in the reserves if his form continues.
Bunbury United’s reserves side had the better of the Rangers in a nine goal thriller. United won 5-4 with David Campos, Zac Myors, Antonio January and an own goal scoring for Dalyellup.
The final game of the day lived up to expectations when Rangers take on United.
Rangers have had a fantastic start this season and it looked as if they were going to take all three points as they held a 2-1 lead heading into stoppage time.
In the eight minute of stoppage time a mix up in the box saw Dalyellup’s own player turn the ball into the net to force a draw. The League goal scorers were Terry Mukuka and Paul Madondo.
