Junior basketball players from across the South West enjoyed a unique chance to see the Perth Wildcats’ seven National Basketball League trophies and enjoy clinics with the reigning premiers.
Wildcat Greg Hire said being involved in a premiership winning team felt great.
“The club is so rich in history and tradition which is great,” he said.
“When I retire, it’s something I’ll be able to reflect on with fond memories.”
Hire said regional fans show tremendous support and often travel hours to watch the Wildcats play, making it important for the side to come down here, share the celebration and return the investment.

After visiting Pinjarra Primary School on Wednesday, the players and trophies visited Brunswick Junction Primary School and Bunbury Catholic College on Thursday.
Friday saw the team visit Treendale Primary School and Bunbury Senior High School.
They also hosted three after-school development clinics at the South West Sports Centre and Leschenault Leisure Centre before an appearance on Saturday at Bunbury Forum.
