Bunbury police have confirmed a marked squad vehicle was damaged by driver who failed-to-stop on Thursday morning.
Bunbury police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Mal Jones said officers were trying to stop a wanted vehicle when the incident occured.
Senior Sergeant Jones said several other squad cars are searching for the offending vehicle in the Dalyellup area and an investigation into the incident will be launched – as is standard practice when a police vehicle is damaged.
A section of Parade Road near Centenary Road was closed for about half an hour but is now reopen to the public.
