Dalyellup Park Rangers’ league side encountered a tough game against Margaret River, who took the lead close to half-time after a slow start.
The second half began and Dalyellup came out with a bit more intensity but conceded again against the run of play.
They kept pushing to find a way back into the game and on the 70-minute mark they did through a great finish from Peter Dube.
Terry Mukuka then found an equaliser for Dalyellup late in the game.
In the last minute of injury-time, Dalyellup were awarded a free-kick which was delivered into the box by Scott Geare and headed in by Ben Kirk to steal a dramatic winner right at the end for Dalyellup.
The Aussie Living man of the match for the game went to Ben Kirk.
The Division One men took on the top-of-the-table Manjimup team, who scored two goals early in the first half.
Dalyellup fought back with John Wright and Brodie Stirling taking control in the middle of the park, and managed to get a goal back through a great strike by Matthew Coppen.
Dalyellup seemed to run out of legs in the final 10 minutes, and conceded three quick goals making the final score 5-1 to the visitors.
The reserves also lost 2-0 against Geographe. Jared Brough of Geographe scored again to solidify his position as the golden boot front runner with a well-taken goal.
Dalyellup’s ladies team found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline against a skilful Geographe side on Sunday, despite more positive results in recent weeks.
Geographe were too good on the day and bagged a few well-worked goals. Dalyellup, on the other hand, were unable to convert their chances.
