The Bunbury City Bulls junior rugby club have continued to impress with a number of aged groups taking to the field this winter.
The under 17s side made their supports proud with a resounding victory in front of a big crown in Perth.
The side took on Wanneroo who are well-established and have a reputation for success.
With some good old-fashioned run and carry, the Bunbury side came away with a 32-12 victory.
The result was testimony to the hard working team who were led through the strong performance by their courageous captain Jean Godfrey.
Locally, the other juniors sides made their way down to the bull ring for a game.
Players in the under six, seven, nine, 11, 13 and 15 teams played some entertaining clashes against the Bunbury Barbarians and the Busselton Jets.
Training for children interested in playing rugby union are welcome to join the club’s training sessions on a Thursday night. For more information about becoming involved email juniorbulls.bunbury@gmail.com.
