WA Police have charged a 53-year-old man from Morley over a sexual assault in Bunbury in 2007.
The WA Police state crime operations squad has charged a male person in relation to a sexual assault offence committed in Bunbury in November 2007.
Police will alleged the then 32-year-old woman was walking along Blair Street in the early hours of November 25, 2007, when a male person grabbed her from behind and forced her into nearby bushes where he sexually assaulted her.
As a result of a review of the case this year by detectives attached to the state crime operations squad a 53-year-old Morley man was charged with sexual penetration without consent.
The man has been bailed to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on October 6, 2016.
