Camp Quality’s tireless work to support children with cancer has received a significant financial boost courtesy of the 2016 wesCarpade.
The annual outback journey travelled for eight days along WA’s Coral Coast between Port Denison and Geraldton discovering uninterrupted stretches of white sandy beaches, untouched coral reefs, breathtaking gorges and brilliant carpets of colourful wildflowers.
Camp Quality programs and community fundraising general manager Nedge Sinanovski said the 24 cars all survived the journey and them teams had a wonderful time out on the road.
“This event creates a real sense of family, with no one left behind,” she said.
“As soon as we finish, we always have teams ready to join in the next one.”
Ms Sinanovski said the towns the wesCarpade visited in 2016 were very welcoming, with young children excited to see the decorated cars in all their glory.
This year’s drive raised in excess of $893,000 which will be used to create supportive environments for children living with cancer.
