The WA Country hockey sides have celebrated a number of successes at the National Masters Championships in Adelaide.
The over 75s side triumphed to claim the premiership title after competing from September 24 to October 8.
The competition spanned nine age groups with competitors aged from 35 up to more than 75 years old.
A number of Bunbury hockey players were selected to join Australian teams set to play three tests overseas against New Zealand in April and May next year.
Michael Sewell was named in the Australian 35+ side while Dean Lomax was chosen for the 45+ team.
Craig Emslie and Michael Rae will line up in the 50+ squad while Alan Kidd was named in the 55+ side.
The ladies masters are currently playing in Hobart and it is expected that a few of the Bunbury competitors are expected to be named for Australia at the end of the carnival.
