Bunbury’s own singer/songwriter Abbe May has taken away two awards at the 2016 WAMAwards.
May took out best single for her popular song Doomsday Clock and secured best female vocalist.
The new single is from her yet to be released album titled ‘Bitchcraft’ and comes after the songwriter experienced a seizure back in 2013 bought on by stress.
After a year off to rest and recuperate in Europe once she arrived back in Australia where she began writing once more.
The Australian music icon’s return was marked after she released the single ‘Are We Flirting?’ which showed a definitive shift in her music.
