Well-dressed ladies from across the South West are expected to converge on Bunbury Turf Club this weekend for the South West Regional Heat of the WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field competition.
In December 2016, Racing and Wagering WA launched the state-wide competition with plenty of great prizes up for grabs.
The competition is open to fashionistas across WA with nine regional heats held at major country race meetings across the state.
The winners of each regional heat are invited to compete in the final at Ascot Racecourse in Perth on Saturday, December 2.
The winner of this year’s final will take home a trip for two to London with Motive Travel, to attend the Royal Ascot racing carnival.
Attended by Her Majesty, the Queen of England, not only does Royal Ascot attract some of the world’s finest racehorses such as the likes of Black Caviar, but it is also well known for being a spectacle of fashion and style.
To add to the prize pool the winner will also receive $10,000 spending money thanks to TABtouch, as well as a voucher for popular Western Australian handbag and accessory label, Jessica Bratich.
Local girl, Ainslie Bayley, was the South West Regional Heat winner for 2016 and represented the region in the 2016 WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field Final.
