Around 260 guests attended the recent Zonta Club of Bunbury’s International Women’s Day breakfast celebrations at the Mercure Sanctuary Golf Resort.
Guest speaker Samantha Ridgway spoke of her many challenges and accomplishments, including studying for a PhD in Science and becoming Australia’s top female rocketeer.
Club President Kimberley Robbins urged those present to act on this year’s theme, ‘Be Bold for Change’ and work together to achieve gender parity.
