A Bunbury man convicted of a string of traffic offences copped hefty fines when he appeared in the local magistrates court on Thursday.
Christian Ty Trigwell appeared via video from Bunbury Regional Prison and pleaded guilty to the charges, which included driving while under suspension, and driving with an illicit drug in his oral fluid.
The court heard Trigwell was stopped by police in Carey Park on March 30, 2016.
He was found to be driving with false plates and with methamphetamine in his system.
On May 14, 2016, Trigwell was again stopped by police in Bunbury on an unlicensed, stolen motorbike with no lights.
He initially failed to stop for officers, which earned him a $5000 fine.
Trigwell was fined a further $3400 for related offences and banned from driving for two years.
