A Bunbury man serving a prison term for bashing a kangaroo to death with a crowbar faced the local magistrates court on Thursday on separate charges.
Craig Jamie House was jailed earlier this year for the shocking attack which happened near Bunbury.
The sentenced prisoner is now facing a string of other charges, including 17 counts of receiving stolen property, and three counts of possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.
House, who is yet to plead to the current charges, is alleged to have received multiple stolen items, including electrical equipment, sports gear, garden tools, musical instruments and camping equipment in Dardanup on February 12, 2016.
The matters were remanded for House to seek legal advice.
He will face court again via video from Bunbury Regional Prison on May 18.
