South West Slammers import Tre Nichols has been named in the WA South side for the Men’s State Basketball League all-star games for Lifeline WA.
Nichols, who was also named in the side last year, has scored 222 points for the Slammers in nine 2017 games.
Nichols will be joined in the side by Kyle Armour and Jay Bowie from Willetton, Jacob Ervin Holmen from Geraldton and Jalen Billups from Cockburn.
The side will be coached by Willetton’s Steve Black.
The north all-stars team will be coached by Nik Lackovic from the Perth Redbacks.
Former Wildcats star Shawn Redhage has been named in the north all-star starting line-up alongside East Perth’s Kevin Davis, Geraldton’s Maurice Barrow, Kalamunda’s Courtney Belger and Joondalup’s Trian Iliadis.
The Swish SBL all-star games for Lifeline WA will take place at the Bendat Basketball Centret on WA Day, June 5 as part of the festival of basketball.
Entry is a donation to Lifeline with heaps of activities, games and prizes on the day.
