Bunbury’s newest dedicated kids’ playground, Croc’s Playcentre, has opened its doors in the Homemaker Centre.
Croc’s Playcentre is a haven for both children and their parents with an expansive play area, a bike and kart track, party rooms and a kids’ baking area.
Parents are well catered for with an integrated Muffin Break inside the centre, serving wraps, pies, cakes muffins along with award-winning coffee.
The centre opened its doors last week and franchisee Aden Webb said the response from the community had been fantastic.
Mr Webb has a mining background, and said he was delighted to be turning his hand to a very different career.
“The feedback has been great,” Mr Webb said. “We’ve been working hard on customer service, and catering for the very young to their parents.
“We’ve employed about 25 people – it’s great to be doing something within the community.”
The Bunbury centre will focus on childrens’ parties, serving up great food and coffee, and providing an engaging play environment for kids.
A highlight of the entertainment includes a specially constructed kids’ baking area, where children can bake their own cookies and pizzas under the guidance of experienced bakers.
Croc’s Playcentre contains several themed party rooms. The centre is also available for private hire.
The centre’s café will provide a great breakfast and lunch option for the hundreds of workers working in the Homemaker Centre and surrounds.
Croc’s Playcentre Bunbury will be open from 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week. The Muffin Break coffee shop will be open and serving coffee from 7am every morning.
