Bunbury professional arm wrestler Ryan Scott continues to impress in competition, advancing his national standing and recently claiming the sport’s top honour in WA.
Scott, 41, a multiple state and national champion, recently placed first at the WA state championships in the right arm super heavy weight division. His efforts in the competition also saw him crowned the overall champion.

Earlier in the year Scott traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the World Armwresting League championships and finished seventh.
He backed that effort up with a left arm first and right arm second finish at an international competition in Malaysia in August.
With a couple of minor injuries from that competition, Scott is hoping to heal quickly so he can travel to Queensland for next week’s national championships as the current Australian number two.

Scott told the Mail the sport is really taking off in Australia with a number of local competitors impressing at the state, national and international level.
