AH, CONTIKI.
Not only is the travel company great for ensuring you see Europe with about 50 like-minded Aussies and a few internationals, but now it’s gone to the effort to improve your 2018.
That’s right, Contiki has released a calendar that shows how to turn 19 annual leave days into 43 days of holiday joy.
Disclaimer: If you work public holidays or weekends, this might not work for you.
But for everyone else, it’s time to start planning your holidays!
Why not start with a 16-day break for Easter, from March 26 to April 8? It’ll only take up eight leave days.
Head back to work for two weeks, before heading off for the Anzac break – nine days of holidays for four days of leave.
Didn’t have enough time off at Christmas this year? Never fear! Next year, take three days of leave and have from December 22 to December 30 off.
Starting to get the idea?
The method is pretty simple – use public holidays and weekends to your advantage to maximise your leave.
Time to Google your state’s public holidays, get the calendar and calculator out, and plan your 2018!
