The City of Bunbury’s Skyfest Fireworks Display concluded an Australia Day filled with family events.
In the afternoon and evening, attendees enjoyed an array of food vans, market stalls, water slides, rock climbing displays and the petting zoo at Bicentennial Square.
The event’s main stage featured a cultural performance at 6pm as well as entertainment from Grace Armstrong, Howie Morgan and AViiDA.
Bonny Twigg delivered the national anthem, ahead of the fireworks display at 8.30pm.
Earlier in the day, Helen Robinson won the Citizen of the Year award for her work with the region’s LGBTQI community.
Community group of the Year went to Morrissey Homestead Incorporated, Samantha Russell was named Young Citizen of the Year, and the Apex Club of Bunbury Koombana received The Willcox Brown Perpetual Trophy.
