The O'Mara Classic International Federation of Body Building Elite Cup fitness event is held in March and around October each year.
Each season, there are a number of competitors attending from WA.
The prestigious event enables competitors to measure up against other amateurs in the region and to qualify for other events around Australia and internationally.
This year, for the first time there was prize money up for grabs within each category. All up $25,000 was shared amongst the top three overall winners.
Renae Williams competed in women’s physique category and won a gold medal.
James Trenow won gold in the Classic Class III while Charley Barrett placed first in the Bikini - Novice division.
Bunbury is well represented each year with a handful of competitors prepping for the event in the weeks building up to it.
Leading the pack this year, and every time over the past four years, was Dalyellup based IFBB competitor and body building coach Zoltan Matrof.
Matrof won his Classic Body Builders Class II division and earned a trophy in the overall category.
Matrof has been a body builder since he was 17-years-old and started competing in 2013.
Since then he has stood on stage 16 times, walking away with medals on each occasion.
