The Championship Men’s Doubles was won by Kat Myburgh and Andrew Woodward who outplayed Carl Parkin and Phil Wright 6/3, 6/1.
The Ladies Singles Championship was won by Diana Thomson who defeated Gayle Narkle 6/1, 6/4.
Diana hit the ball very hard and flat and also with great consistency.
This was very impressive as Diana has won the title for the 19th time.
The Men’s Singles Championship was won by Carl Parkin in a very hard fort battle against young Conner Lord 1/6, 6/2, 7/6 (10/8 in the tie break).
Conner used great skill and power in the first set to outplay Parkin, but with his never give up motto, Parkin came back to win the second set 6/2.
In the third and final set Lord looked set to win the title when he was up 5/2 but yet again Parkin comes back to 6 all to force the tie break.
After numerous match points to both players, Parkin wins out at 10/8. Some of the most thrilling tennis seen on centre court at Bunbury.
